Thy Creature Modern/Zombie AU Part 2
Because i went past the word count on the last one... oops... same tws.
Victor has been trying to make a cure but to no avail because everything's just infected and disgusting. Not a sterile surface in sight. Can't make heads from tails out of the biomass.
When the residents finally find him, he realizes he never had a chance of making the cure. He's begging them to save him but he can't be saved. He sees the creature and goes enranged because if it weren't for it, he wouldn't have had continued doing it because he was successful (classic Victor putting the blame on everyone else...)
He gets enraged enough that he goes full mutant mode, taking a little piece of each Nepe Zombie. 701's ribbons that come from her body, Raven's wings, EL's teeth, Atlas' relaxant, Siren's hallucinogen, and Nameless' roaring.
Everyone has to help kill him now. Justine is in tears doing it because that's her childhood friend goddamit!!! But he's no longer the person she knew
Noah's so happy/j. He feels bad bc this is his student but at the same time what the fuck man.
They let Ben free to attack Victor but he nearly loses himself to the infection...
Noah does manage to figure out a sort of vaccine which cant reverse the damage, but definitely help stop it/clear it out of someones system. Using the strain in Creature which has since stabilized further, hes able to inoculate everyone on the team.
Now it's just a matter of introducing it to the world.
Bens condition has been halted but his body is more gelatinous/sensitive, meaning theyll have to take care of him. Theyre more than happy to bc at least hes not dead :3
YIPPEEEEE Happy ending
Now you guys may be wondering why everyone lives... bc i want them too but also considering Thy Creature is a zombie apocalypse adjacent story and the residents survived that ordeal. I think they would survive this one.

Eill January 6th be Buried Like the JFK Assassination?
Will January 6th be like the Kennedy assassination? Will we never know the whole story?
THOM HARTMANN. SEP 14
This week we heard from a Secret Service agent who says there was more than one shooter at Dealy Plaza in Dallas back in November, 1963. JFKâs top aide, Dave Powers â who was in the car just behind JFK at the time of the assassination â told me the same thing, as Lamar Waldron and I reported in our book Legacy of Secrecy: The Long Shadow of the JFK Assassination.
While people may disagree on their favorite theory of who was behind and who executed the killing, thereâs broad agreement across America that we still donât know the entire story (and the CIA and FBI continue to refuse to declassify thousands of pages of documents).
Will January 6th be like the Kennedy assassination? Will we never know the whole story?
Andrea Junker recently tweeted:
âAnybody else still curious who planted the pipe bombs, disabled Mike Penceâs key card, removed the panic button in Ayanna Presleyâs office, and shared the locations of non-reinforced Capitol windows?â
Inquiring minds want to know.
In a troubling turn, a new biography of Mitt Romney by McKay Coppins dropped this week, with a fascinating excerpt published in The Atlantic. In it, Coppins tells the story of Romney hearing, on January 2nd, from Maine Senator Angus King that a high-ranking Pentagon official had just given him a mind-blowing warning:
âLaw enforcement has been tracking online chatter among right-wing extremists who appear to be planning something bad on the day of Donald Trumpâs upcoming rally in Washington, D.C. The president has been telling them the election was stolen; now theyâre coming to steal it back.
âThereâs talk of gun smuggling, of bombs and arson, of targeting the traitors in Congress who are responsible for this travesty. Romneyâs name has been popping up in some frightening corners of the internet, which is why King needed to talk to him. He isnât sure Romney will be safe.â
Alarmed, Romney reached out to Mitch McConnell with a text message:
âIn case you have not heard this, I just got a call from Angus King, who said that he had spoken with a senior official at the Pentagon who reports that they are seeing very disturbing social media traffic regarding the protests planned on the 6th.
âThere are calls to burn down your home, Mitch; to smuggle guns into DC, and to storm the Capitol. I hope that sufficient security plans are in place, but I am concerned that the instigatorâthe Presidentâis the one who commands the reinforcements the DC and Capitol police might require.â
Romneyâs concern was prescient. But the interaction (Mitch McConnell never replied to Romney) leaves us with more questions than answers.
For example, why did Trumpâs Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller issue a memo on January 4th explicitly saying that the DC National Guard was:
â Not authorized to be issued weapons, ammunition, bayonets, batons, or ballistic protection equipment such as helmets and body armor.
â Not to interact physically with Trumpâs protestors, except when necessary in self-defense or defense of others.
â Not to employ any riot control agents.
â Not to share equipment with law enforcement agencies.
â Not authorized to use Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets or to conduct ISR or Incident, Awareness, and Assessment activities in assistance to Capitol Police.
â Not allowed to employ helicopters or any other air assets.
â Not to conduct searches, seizures, arrests, or other similar direct law enforcement activity.
â Not authorized to seek support from any non-DC National Guard units.
Why didnât our federal police, investigative, and military agencies do anything when they knew full well in advance that an armed mob was coming to the Capitol to try to overthrow our government, and that many within the mob were armed and willing to kill (and did) to try to accomplish their goal?
Why, afterward, did the Secret Service and the Department of Defense wipe their phones so the data could never be retrieved?
Why has there never been a public examination of most of this? What did then-and-now FBI Director Christopher Wray know, and when did he know it?
Itâs as if a small-town police force was warned that a gang of bank robbers was on their way into town on the following Saturday, and that weekend the entire police force decided to leave their phones off the hook and go fishing. And after the bank was robbed, they all said they didnât realize theyâd really intended to rob the townâs bank. And then destroyed the note warning them the robbers were coming to town.
Why are so few people openly speculating that corrupt individuals â possibly only a handful â within the FBI, Secret Service, and Department of Defense may have participated in a plot led by Donald Trump to overthrow our government? And how many of Trumpâs stooges are still in our government, perhaps waiting for his return?
Why isnât our media pursuing these questions?
Is it simply because treason is such an unimaginably heinous act? Does journalistic integrity require them to await âsmoking gunâ evidence that, at the very least, some people within these organizations were knowing or unknowing participants in Trumpâs plot to become Americaâs last president? Is it fear of losing sources in these agencies?
If this isnât bad enough, on January 6th itself â as armed traitors were attacking police and searching to âhang Mike Penceâ â Chris Miller oversaw a mid-afternoon, mid-riot conference call in which Army Secretary McCarthy was again begging for authority to immediately bring in the National Guard.
Then-Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations General Charles Flynn, the brother of convicted/pardoned foreign agent General Michael Flynn (who had been pushing Trump to declare martial law and have the military seize voting machines nationwide) was on the call; both the Pentagon and the Army, it has been reported, lied to the press, Congress, and, apparently, to the Biden administration about his presence on that call for almost a year.
It wasnât until December, 2021 that it was widely reported that the National Security Councilâs Colonel Earl Matthews (who was also on the call) wrote a memo calling both Charles Flynn and Lt. Gen Walter Piatt, the Director of Army Staff, âabsolute and unmitigated liarsâ for their testimony to Congress in which they both denied theyâd argued to withhold the National Guard on January 6th.
Then we discovered that the phones and text messages of most of the group, including Chris Miller, Walter Piatt, Kash Patel, and Ryan McCarthy were all wiped of all conversations and text messages they had on and in the lead-up to January 6th.
Most of the communication-based evidence was destroyed. Completely destroyed. By coincidence, they said. And the FBI, still run by Trump appointee Wray, seems to have never followed up on any of it.
Why was the riot gear for the Capitol Police stored â after they were warned a mob would be coming for them â in a locked bus? As The Washington Post reported:
âAs a mob incited by President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol, officers scrambled to get the body armor. But the bus was locked, and no one could find the key. They were forced to defend the complex, and themselves, in their regular uniforms. All told, about 140 officers reported suffering injuries during the most significant breach of the Capitol since the War of 1812.â
Was it the same person or people who disabled Presleyâs panic buttons?
How did the mob know the secret hideaway that Jim Clyburn used for most of his work when they came looking to possibly lynch him with the noose they had outside? He told CBS News:
âThey knew where to go. ⌠Yes, somebody on the inside of those buildings were complicit in this.â Adding, âThe office with my name on the door was not touched. But the office where I do most of my work in, they were on that floor and outside that door.â
Why has there been no follow-up to Lauren Boebert live-tweeting the location of Nancy Pelosi as she was being hunted for assassination?
Why havenât we heard any more about the members of Congress who were giving tours to insurrectionists? Why has there been no investigation whatsoever â at least that the public knows anything about â into complicity at the highest levels of our government?
And now weâre watching with jaws agape as Tommy Tuberville is holding open hundreds of senior military positions in a fashion similar to the way Mitch McConnell held Merrick Garlandâs seat on the Supreme Court open for well over a year before Trump took office in 2017.
That would be the Senator Tuberville whose hometown newspaper printed pictures showing him in Trumpâs private residence the evening of January 5th, 2021, at what appears to be a planning session just hours before the Capitol was invaded.
As the Alabama Political Reporter newspaper reported at the time:
âThe night before the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, Alabama Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville and the then-director of the Republican Attorneys General Association met with then-President Donald Trumpâs sons and close advisers, according to a social media post by a Nebraska Republican who at the time was a Trump administration appointee.
âCharles W. Herbster, who was then the national chairman of the Agriculture and Rural Advisory Committee in Trumpâs administration, in a Facebook post at 8:33 p.m. on Jan. 5 said that he was standing âin the private residence of the President at Trump International with the following patriots who are joining me in a battle for justice and truth.â âŚ
âAmong the attendees, according to Herbsterâs post, were Tuberville, former RAGA director Adam Piper, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Trumpâs former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, adviser Peter Navarro, Trumpâs 2016 campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, and 2016 deputy campaign manager David Bossie.â
Tuberville has denied to the press that he was at the meeting, but the Alabama Political Reporter noted not only the pictures of him there but also reprinted Facebook and Instagram posts from others who attended citing Tuberville as being part of this particular war room event planning for January 6th.
One, a rightwing tech CEO named Daniel Beck, even wrote on Instagram just before midnight January 5th (with a picture at the hotel) that heâd just:
â[S]pent the evening with Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, Tommy Tuberville, Michael J. Lindell, Peter Navarro, and Rudy Giuliani. We talked about the elections, illegal votes, court cases, the republicsâ status, what to expect on the hill tomorrow. TRUMP WILL RETAIN THE PRESIDENCY!!!â
Remember, it was the military that apparently refused to go along with Trumpâs plan for them to seize voting machines and help him overturn the election and appoint himself dictator-for-life.
Is Tuberville holding those seats open for a second Trump term so Trump can appoint leaders to our military who will go along with the next seditious attempt?
The excerpt from the new Romney biography is alarming, but when put into the context of these other revelations it becomes outright shocking.
Americans deserve some answers.
Thank you for reading The Hartmann Report. This post is public so feel free to share it.

LIEBE LIESE: á´Ęá´á´á´á´Ę ÉŞ â đŽđžđđđđ đ˝đśđžđ
â CHAPTERS LIST â  PROLOGUE WORD COUNT: 3,5k
LIESE SIGHS and blows a loose strand of hair from out of her face. Sheâs bored out of her mind.
The association she works for is throwing a benefit gala to raise funds for the treatment of children with leukemia and research of the disease. It has been draining since she had to prepare a speech but sheâs just a doctor, only good with medicine, not words. So, speaking beautiful and meaningful things in front of people and a bunch of celebrities is worse than sitting through a film from the Saw franchise.
Sheâs probably just overreacting, though. But it certainly isnât fun going to events like this straight from a 13-hour shift. Liese hasnât slept in the last nine hours, she hasnât eaten in forever and the remaining three hours of the shift had been a hellish roller coaster. Try to do that and hold a smile while mingling around to talk about the wonders of the project. With a bit of luck, she could get two or three signed checks.
Liese approaches the bar area and sits down the empty glass of liquor. âWhiskey, neat,â She orders, glancing at the bartender before looking back at her phone.
The woman had long abandoned the champagne.
âSame as the ladyâs,â A male voice says from her side.
Out of politeness, Liese acknowledges the manâs presence by looking at him and smiling briefly. He stares at her with interest as she thanks the bartender for the drink and simply moves away, without even taking a second look at him.
âJust more thirty minutes and Iâll finally leaveâ, Liese thinks to herself, stepping out on the empty balcony.
Itâs freezing, thatâs why itâs empty, but the woman isnât bothered by it. She walks towards the railing, resting both hands on the cold stone. The chilly wind makes her realize sheâs a bit drunk which is no surprise since sheâs been nursing glasses of champagne and whiskey for the past two hours with an empty stomach.
âWhat a lady like you is doing all alone in the cold?â The deep voice makes her turn as the man from the bar approaches.
âWhat does make you think Iâm alone?â She asks, looking at him and accepting the flirtation. âIâm with you, am I not?â The woman raises an eyebrow, sipping the brown liquor, and he smiles.
âYes, you are,â He agrees. âIâm Henry Cavill and I believe you are Dr. Liese Hartmann, correct?â He frowns.
âI am,â She nods. âNice to meet you, Mr. Cavill,â Her light brown eyes stay focused on his face.
Henry gives her a warm smile. âI must congratulate you. It was a brilliant speech.â
âOh, please,â Liese scoffs, rolling her eyes and looking away. âNow I know you really want something from me because praise that tells a lot. And itâs desperation,â She chuckles to not sound as rude as her words seemed.
The man chuckles as well, taking a step closer to her.
âNot at all,â He starts. âI can tell how passionate youâre about your work from what youâve said.â
âWell, Iâll give you that,â The woman nods, raising her glass.
Henry clicks their glasses, and they sip their drinks without breaking eye contact. Liese licks her lips, and the man stares at it immediately as she places her glass back on the stone railing.
âSo what kind of lady am I?â She asks, eyes focusing back on his.
He panics slightly as he minds go blank but before he knows, heâs talking. âYouâre very smart, witty and you obviously pour your heart into your work,â The man wets his lips quickly and Liese part hers, tilting her head slightly and resting her glass in front of her chin. âBesides all of that, youâre gorgeous. You change the atmosphere of the room youâre in and it isnât the red dress nor the silver hair,â He says. âDonât get me wrong, theyâre very interesting but youâre much more than the beautiful exterior. Youâre simply genuine about everything.â
Liese keeps a stoical gaze until she cracks a side smile. âSo you can read people?â She raises an eyebrow and he shrugs with a smirk. âVery well. So you understand why a lady like me sees no problem in being alone. In fact, our own companionship is more than enough,â Liese finally sips her drink.
âI do,â Henry nods.
âHowever, it doesnât mean we donât enjoy being with someone else at times,â The woman adds, moving to sit down at the sofa on the edge of the balcony.
âThatâs good to know,â He says, following behind her.
She crosses her leg, adjusting the fabric to cover a bit more of the exposed skin from the split.
Henry simply pops open the button to his suit jacket. âAre you cold?â He frowns again, gazing at her uncovered shoulders and arms.
âIâm hungry,â She says confesses right away.
The man laughs heartily, tilting his head back, shoulders shaking and all. âIs there something I can do to help with that?â He asks.
âI donât think so,â Liese replies, narrowing her eyes at him.
âWhy is that?â He keeps the handsome smile on his face.
âBecause you seem too fit,â She boldly pokes his chest with her index finger and his eyes follow it before he erupts in laughter again.
âWow,â The man wiggles his eyebrows. âNobody ever insulted me by saying Iâm in a good shape,â He points out.
âWell, Iâm craving for a burger and it doesnât seem your choice of food,â She says with a slight head shake, and he gives her a weird look. âWomen donât need to be pregnant to crave food,â Liese explains, rolling her eyes.
âI eat burgers,â Henry defends himself. âNot always, but I do,â He emphasizes it.
âIs it cheat day?â The woman smirks at him, flirting hard.
âIf you want to,â He says, keeping her gaze until he stands up. âCome on, we can get it on the way.â
âTo where?â She frowns, looking up at him.
âWhy donât we find out?â He replies, offering a hand.
Liese stares at him for a second before slowly opening a smirk and accepting his hand. She picks her clutch and leaves her glass of whiskey on the coffee table by the side of Henryâs before taking his hand. Once standing up, he motions for her to lead the way, and she does.
The ballroom now seems extremely too hot and itâs hard to breathe. Liese doesnât bother to say goodbye to anyone, she simply walks towards the exit with the man following behind her.
âDr. Hartmann,â Someone calls, and she halts, raising her head to look at the source: a photographer. âMr. Cavill,â He says, after recognizing the man. âA photo, if I may?â He asks.
Henry looks at Liese, waiting for her answer as he puts his phone back into the inside pocket of the suit jacket. âOf course,â The woman politely smiles, back into the sweet doctor persona.
She transfers her clutch to the left hand and adjusts her skirt, making the split side of it more apparent. Liese looks back at Henry, and he gets closer, placing his hand on the small of her back. They look at the camera and a photo is taken. The woman then leans back against Henryâs body and puts a hand on her waist, sticking her exposed leg further out. This time, the photographer takes several photos of them.
âThatâs it. Thank you so much,â The man with the camera says with a nod.
âSure,â Liese smiles again.
âVery nice speech, doctor,â The photographer continues.
âOh, youâre very kind,â She looks down, holding her skirt to not stumble upon it. âHave a good night,â She offers another smile.
âFor you guys as well,â He says.
âThanks, mate,â Henry nods at him, following the woman. âIt looks like our getaway is no longer a secret,â He whispers to her, keeping his hand on her back.
She looks at him with an amused smile. âIs that a problem?â
âOh, not at all,â He shakes his head. âI am lucky that a lady like you wants to be seen with me,â Henry keeps up with the joke, and she actually laughs for the first time.
âWell, I will be seen with you, yes,â Liese gives him a look with a smile, then motions to the expecting fans waiting outside with her head.
âOh,â He says, looking at the crowd that hasnât recognized him yet.
âYup,â The woman nods, turning to face him. âDid you drive here?â
âNo, but I have a car waiting. He should be here by now,â Henry replies, looking around as people start to scream for him. âThere he is,â He motions to a sleek black SUV with a driver waiting outside, looking at them.
âOh, Chris,â Liese smiles at the sight of the driver and waves, getting a small smile and a wave back.
Henry is surprised by two things: first, she knows him, and secondly, he never saw the manâs features change from the permanent scowl. Oh, and they work together for quite some time now.
Girls scream his name louder and security has to stop them from getting to him. âIâll be there in a second,â He says to her.
The woman nods and lets him to his devices, walking towards Chris. âDr. Hartmann,â The driver greets her, opening the backseat door for her.
âYou know you can call me Liese, Chris,â She chides him but with a smile, giving him a quick kiss on the cheeks. âHow are you? Itâs been quite some time!â
As usual, he accepts the warm greeting awkwardly. âIt does, dr HarâŚâ He stops himself at her raised eyebrow. âLiese,â He concedes with a contained chuckle. âIâm very good, thank you for asking. How about you, maâam?â
âNot even my mum likes to be called maâam but Iâm fine as well,â She replies and the driver chuckles more naturally.
âItâs nice seeing you,â He confesses.
âYes, I couldnât agree more!â Liese smiles widely.
âUhmâŚâ Chris pauses, glancing at the celebrity who employs him. âIf you donât mindâŚâ
The woman interrupts him by shaking her head and waving her hand dismissively. âYou know I donât. Speak freely,â She says, looking at him with the same smile.
âAre you joining Mr. Cavill tonight?â He asks, focused on her.
âOnly if you say itâs fine,â Liese replies truthfully.
The driverâs eyes almost pop out from its sockets. âDr. Hartmann!â He says in astonishment.
She smiles. âYou know what I mean,â The woman moves a strand of hair to the side. âYou probably know him better than I do. Is there something that I should know?â She raises an eyebrow.
âNo,â Chris shakes his head, understanding her concern. âHeâs a very nice guy, humble. Definitely different from other famous people I worked with but in a good way,â He informs her.
Liese nods and smiles. âThen, yes. Iâm joining him,â She confirms, and he nods. âHowâs little Michael, by the way?â Liese frowns slightly.
They didnât realize the man approaching him and, gladly, he only catches the last sentence. âWhoâs Michael now?â Henry thinks to himself as he walks towards the woman and his driver.
Chris doesnât have the opportunity to answer as he looks at the actor. âAre we ready?â He asks.
âYes, sir,â The driver nods.
Henry gives him a look. âI told you Henry is enough,â He says.
Liese chuckles at it and Chris looks at the couple. âMy apologies, sir.â
âThat is also prohibited,â The man says, reaching out a hand for Liese. âLet me help you in.â
She gathers as much of the dress fabric as she could, accepting Henryâs hand. He, too, raises her skirt to free her feet but careful enough to not expose her. Liese scoots over to behind the driverâs seat and adjusts her dress as Henry slides in by her side.
âHow do you know Chris?â He asks quickly as the man walks around the vehicle.
âWe worked together,â She replies promptly, putting on the seat belt. âHeâs an EMT and a great one,â Liese adds.
His eyebrows shoot to his hairline. âI didnât know that,â He confesses as Chris opens the door. âChris, why didnât you tell me youâre an EMT?â He asks the man right away.
âOh, I thought you already knew, sir,â The man says, putting his own seat belt. âIâm also an Army veteran. Thatâs exactly why miss Garcia hired me.â
âWhoa. I donât know shit,â Henry says, shaking his head and the woman chuckles. âOh, donât call Dany âmiss Garciaâ in front of her.â
âI wouldnât do that again!â Chris shakes his head, remembering what happened when he did that for the first time. Henry chuckles. âWhere should I go?â
âFirst food for the lady and then straight home,â He instructs. âI think the only place open right now is McDonaldâs, though,â He looks at the woman by his side.
âMcDonaldâs it is,â She says and the driver nods once again, moving the car.
âSo you two met when Chris worked as an EMT?â The man asks her with a slight frown after they pull out the ballroom.
âI convinced him to become an EMT, actually,â Liese replies. âMany years ago Chris and his wife rushed to the ER with their infant son, Michael, who choked on food. I was the attending physician but Chris was the one who saved his son. He cleared Mikeâs airways as much as he could until I got him.â
âWow. And then you become an EMT?â Henry looks at his driver.
He nods. âDr. Hartmann doesnât take no for an answer,â He says.
At McDonaldâs drive-thru, the doctor orders food for her and the two men â against their will, for the record â saying to Henry that she wonât share hers. Beside the Big Mac, the woman gets herself a mint Matchmaker McFlurry which she manages to eat it all before getting to wherever theyâre going. It wasnât planned, but she saw an advertisement and got curious about it instantly. For Henry, she gets a Big Tasty with Bacon and large fries with coke for Chris.
The car parks in front of a mews house in South Kensington and Henry hops out of it, reaching out a hand for her. Liese struggles to hold the empty foam cup as well as the brown paper bag with her food without tripping over her dress.
âOof,â The woman breathes out, clutching on to Henryâs shoulder to steady herself on five-inch stiletto heels.
The muscular arm around her waist also helps a lot.
âAllow me to take this, Dr. Hartmann,â Chris says, picking the empty foam cup from her hand.
âThanks,â She smiles. âOh, my clutch,â She turns back to the car, bending over the backseat to retrieve the small purse.
âGot it?â Henry asks, trying his best to not stare at her rear.
âUh-huhâŚâ The woman replies before even reaching the purse. Raising her leg a little bit, she finally retrieves the item. âGot it,â She says, pushing herself back into her feet.
âWonderful,â He says, holding her at arm's length and turning to the driver. âThanks, Chris. Have a good night.â
âBye, Chris. It was nice seeing you,â She says to the man, holding onto Henryâs arm.
âYou too, Dr. Hartmann,â The driver replies, closing the backseat door. âThe new hair color is very nice, by the way.â
âThank you,â She genuinely smiles at him. âAnd itâs Liese.â
Chris chuckles. âHave a good night.â
The woman waves as he gets into the car, walking alongside Henry towards his front door. As he unlocks it, an eager dog whimper can be heard from outside and the massive bear greets them with a wagging tail. The man sustains his weight as he jumps on him and Liese slips inside the house. The dog quickly shifts his interest from his owner to her which she gladly accepts.
âOh my God, hey!â She smiles, immediately kneeling down to pet him. âDu bist das Bärchen, nicht ich,â Liese whispers to the pet in her native language and the man frowns at it. âNein, McDonald's kann du nicht haben. Es tut dir nicht gut,â She says as the dog gets interested in her food bag.
âOk, Kal,â Henry starts. âGive her some space,â He says to the dog and he obeys, walking away.
âHeâs so adorable,â The woman says with a smile, accepting the hand to help her stand up.
Once she gets to his eye level, Liese gasps in surprise as the man pushes her against the door, pinning her. His lips cover hers immediately and she melts into his mouth. A small moan escapes her mouth when Henryâs tongue slips into it. At the sound, he squeezes her against the wood even harder, almost feeling every inch of her small frame with his body. The kiss is slow even though they both want it desperately since they were at that freezing balcony.
âThat ice cream does taste good,â Henry whispers into her lips. âWho would have thought that mint and whiskey are a good match?â He adds and Liese chuckles.
âWell, I told you so,â She says, eyes locked on his and thatâs when she notices it, even in the dark. âYou have sectoral heterochromia!â The woman muses, surprised to not have seen it before.
âWhat?â He chuckles.
âThe brown bit in your beautiful blue eyes,â The doctor explains. âThatâs sectoral heterochromia.â
âOh, that,â Henry smiles, moving to turn the lights on. âI forgot youâre a doctor,â He adds, looking back at her. âYou really like your ridiculously difficult words.â
âIâm a consultant physician. You should see pathologists,â Liese shakes her head slightly, making him chuckle. The man grabs her hand and leads her to the kitchen. As Henry turns the lights on, the womanâs stomach rumbles loudly. âOh, God,â She makes a face, putting a hand over it.
âWhen was the last time you ate something?â He asks, watching her sitting on the countertop.
âIâll sit here,â She informs instead of asking. âI donât know,â The woman answers the question, crossing her legs and searching for her food into the bag. âI was working a thirteen-hour shift and then went straight to the gala.â
âAre you serious?â Henry asks, peeling off his jacket suit.
âUh-huh,â She nods, finally biting into the big burger.
The man proceeds to take off his tie, leaving it over the sofaâs backrest, and then unbuttons enough of his dress shirt to see muscle under it. âKal, donât,â He says to the dog who eyes the tie in interest. âGet out of there,â Henry tells him, folding his sleeves.
The dog has ruined enough amount of his ties since Henry got him.
âKal,â The woman whispers. âWhy do I recognize this name?â She asks to herself with a frown before shaking her head.
Henry turns back to her. âDo you want anything to drink?â
âMilk,â Is the prompt answer.
He frowns. âMilk?â He says, getting it from the fridge anyway. "That's an odd combination."
âWell, I had enough of liquor today. This is supposed to make me not have a hangover tomorrow morning,â Liese explains, accepting the full glass heâs offering.
âSmart,â He leans against the kitchen island right in front of her and grabs one of her ankles.
Liese watches as he starts to unfasten the stiletto heelsâ strap from her ankle. âIâm a doctor, right?â She raises an eyebrow as he looks up at her with a smile on his face.
âYou say you are,â He replies, massaging her free foot with one hand while the other puts the shoe on the counter beside her. âBut how can I be sure?â Henry asks playfully, grabbing her other ankle and doing the same thing.
The woman gently puts her burger down, reaching out to her clutch and getting her hospital ID from it. âHow about this?â She puts it on his face as he massages her other foot. âOh, that feels so good,â The woman moans unintentionally.
âSt. Thomas, youâre fancy,â He teases her, smiling widely. âIt can be fake, though.â
Liese rolls her eyes. âOkay,â She looks up, trying to think of something while chewing. âAsk me anything then.â
So he does. âWill you sit on my face tonight?â Henry looks at her with the most innocent eyes and squeezing her calf.
She laughs. âIs that what you wanted to ask all this time?â
âMaybe,â He blinks naively at her.
âThen eat your burger so you can be strong enough to bear me,â She says, motioning to the junk food sitting on the counter.
âOh, you are this feisty?â Henry continues teasing, picking the boxed burger.
âDonât you wanna find out?â Liese teases him too, running her foot down on his abs.
She reaches really low but never gets to his crotch then crossing her leg again in a much sexier way. The expression on his face when he looks up at her again is so amusing that Liese canât hold her laugh.

Thy Creature Modern/Zombie AU Part 3
(BOOOO MOD GWAAAAAR BOOOO WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS) Because I'm very self-centered... a part 3 no one asked for because why not :3 part 1 and 2 found in their respective links. This is all information I didn't find necessary to the plot (didnt think about till 2 days later lmao) so think of it like a bonus... TW for eye horror, gore and amputation. I'll try not to get explicit bc this is still a sfw blog. Just briefly going over it because what good is a zombie apocalypse AU without any horror...
If i think of anything else expect like a part 4 lmaoooo
FINALLY THOUGHT OF OUTFITS FOR EVERYONE :3
Noah dresses in a suit for professionalism but when shit gets real he takes off the suit jacket... and mama mia he has a harness underneath...
He also wears a small cross pendant! Bc we can't forget he's Catholic lmao.
Justine wears dresses that look vaugely like uniform but their university doesn't have a uniform she just likes dressing in academia :3 she's very cutie pie and she makes her clothes herself
EL/Erysichthon wears like. Normal children's clothing. Probably a t-shirt, some shorts and a hoodie. ALTHOUGH considering he's supposed to be Williams reanimated corpse in this AU, and Victor is still pretty well off here, maybe he'd wear something more sophisticated.
Creature honestly just picked up some random ass shit from like a trashcan, very esoteric. Justine lends it some clothes later on/makes some for it.
Leon dresses like an average college student wwww he doesn't have time to clean up. Hoodie, t-shirt and some jeans. Whatever allows him flexibility/mobility because he's very athletic.
Hanna dresses in flowing dresses/skirts and oversized cardigans. She uses her cardigan as a blanket whenever someone falls asleep :3 so like if EL gets tuckered out she's like noooo poor baby and puts her cardigan on him.
Chris dresses homeless . Drunk asf and picked up whatevers nearby. Usually wears a heavy coat.
Alex is very grandpacore/butch like sweaters and pantsuits and shit. Very cozy too like you can trust her. You know she's a baddie !!!
Ben usually wears a dress shirt tie and some pants like a very clean look. But after the divorce trademark, his tie is all janky and his shirt is stained and he's a real mess...
Victor tried to look all professional at his Uni but uh... he gave in to the hoodie jeans combo after a while
Injury time.
@fleurrice ever the enabler has made me decide we need a little eye horror in here. Siren takes out Noah's right eye lmao... lmao... he gets to wear a cool ass eye patch like that one chick from Chainsaw Man (doesnt watch CSM)
After that he uses the shattered remains of his glasses as a makeshift monocle
Noah also injures his hands by hitting 701s preserved zombie dolls. The hardened layer of skin breaks his hands and they're bandaged up like in the game. That leaves him out of commission to fight so he stays a healer instead
This wouldn't be a zombie apocalypse AU without a surgery without anaesthesia...
Chris survives one undisclosed war and now he has to fight another... life is a comedy
Yeah so they have to amputate his leg to prevent the infection from going further. And hes like god fucking damn it just do it already.
Noah and Justine have to do the operation while Hanna Creature Alex and Leon have to hold him down. Justine's helping because she's really good at sewing and considering what a precise process it is and Noah's hands being in an utterly dreadful state he needs assistance. Ben can't do anything bc EL bit him.
Justine is very frightened and Noah has to be like WE GOTTA DO THIS GIRL!!! Of course he comforts her later bc he traumatized this poor girl but at the moment he's reallllly stressed.
Chris is just chugging that whiskey... Afterwards he's fine and they help him. Alex especially because before this she already had a prosthetic arm so she helps Chris cope/adjust to the situation.
I don't know where to put this but EL!!! He behaves very uncannily. His movements are janky and his eyes are big and glossy and dollike. They're all kinda creeped out by him but assume he's just a traumatized child...
EL is a boy genius partially because he read up on Victor's book collection and has good memory. He's also insanely endurant and while we know he's a Nepe zombie, they don't. So this is just seen as an extra benefit.
The reason they don't suspect him to be one is because they couldn't find any visible bite marks on his body + he looks normal enough because of his high stability.
MY IRL FRIEND GAVE ME THIS IDEA bc hes so fucking smart. So when i told them abt Victor using octopus DNA for siren he's like maybe it's because octopus limbs grow back so Victor thought it'd be useful. And mayeb the reason why the hair color changes is because of the octopus DNA camouflage... smartie pants

Winterberg FOREVER
There are so many things for which I would like to thank Druck.
The director Pola Beck did an amazing work.
Gathering together so many young and extremely talented people, who look simply stunning. Aesthetically perfect. And creating completely unique couples each with unique chemistry and story.
Producers, thank you.
đ
The scriptwriter Alexander Lindh. Thank you. We enjoyed every turn of the script. The suspense and logical sequence of events, the way everything was connected. Wonderful.
đ
Coordinators Nadine Schmidt, Claudia Steinert, costume designer Sophie Klebba, thank you.
đ
Film editor David Hartmann, thank you.
đ
Cameramenđ
Juan Sarmiento G.
Johannes Louis
The work of cameramen is simply incomparable.
đ
Druck is the most aesthetically beautiful, perfect.
I enjoyed every moment, every scene.
The colors, the light itself... always perfect, and a delight for the eyes of the aesthets.
The flow and softness of the shots, scenes, the bright and vivid and dark colours, the aesthetical beauty of the picture. At their best in each scene. đâĽď¸
đ
Due to Druck I got acquainted with so many incredible people who supported me and helped me, answered my questions.
đ
I got the stimulus for which I have been waiting to renew my studying of German.
I enjoyed hearing actors speak. â¤
And, I will be forever grateful for making me feel all I felt to Chris and Milena. đ
Alexander and Mia are aesthetically and emotionally my beloved couple. My favorite one. I enjoyed every second of seeing them on the screen. For the first time in my life I enjoyed so much to watch and to be genuinely worried about the couple on screen. They are PERFECT together. They made DRUCK a real gift and bliss for cinema lovers.
Thank you đ Thank you.

Day 1750 - Friday, January 25, 2019
Woburn/Clark's Court Bay, Grenada
(0 m; 8245 m / 7165 nm total)
Today would have been my Mom's birthday. Heartbreaking to know we won't be seeing her when we return to the states. She's been such an integral part of our family for so long. Everyday, she is missed đŞ
Boarded the shopping bus at 930 am out of Whisper Cove Marina, pretty full bus, whole new cast of characters. Stops at the veggie market, bank, IGA, and CK Wholesalers. Interesting conversation at the Spiceland Mall food court, while waiting for our driver, with two of the other shopping bus drivers, Chris and George, who service Prickly Bay Marina and Mt. Hartmann Bay, who we have gotten to know a little over the past 3 years. They were shocked at the number of people furloughed due to the government shutdown, people losing their housing after only one month of non-payment of their mortgage or rent, people selling their furniture and other stuff to feed their families, workers going to food banks or signing up for food stamps. "In America?," they say. They are concerned about the effect that what is happening in the states is affecting the world economy and those here in Grenada. Chris' wife is scheduled to return to the states in March and he does not want her to go, afraid for her safety. He is worried about a civil war. Paul and I both quickly shake our heads, "no," don't worry about that. Americans are too lazy, don't go outside, can't leave their TVs, tablets, and phones to have that level of civil unrest, over a stupid wall. We got back to the boat to the news that the shutdown is over, at least for three weeks. Hopefully, the dopes in DC can work things out so another shutdown does not happen.
When the bus dropped us back at Whisper Cove Marina, we opted to have a cold one at the bar before heading home. Not the best idea on an empty stomach. Several hours later, we made it home, with soft cheese and chocolate chips, but the butter at the bottom of the freezer bag was still hard đ
